first photographs!

hello again! i made it to venice and have mostly adjusted to the time change. the first day was pretty rough. we made it to our rooms at around 5ish i think and we were all pretty out of it. i didn't sleep much on the plane ride over (maybe 30 minutes) but i did totally love swiss air. complementary booze?!?! i'm in.

the ride from zurich to venice was super short and we flew over the alps, which was pretty sweet but i don't think i really appreciated it enough because i was falling asleep and had a kind of weird dude sitting next to me who kept tilting his legs in my direction. anyway, we took a boat from the airport to the area where we are staying and it was amazing. everything here is absolutely beautiful. but you'll see, i'll post pictures! i also love how energy conscientious everything seems to be around here. the lights are all on timers that go out like 2 minutes after you leave a room and all the toilets have a flushing option for poop vs. pee to save water. it's great. also, we have a bidet, which frankly i'm a little scared of.

been spending the last few days eating, drinking and getting to know everyone on the trip. i don't even know why i was nervous at all because everyone is so nice and great! i have had the best prosciutto i have ever had in my life. i've really enjoyed the culture here so far. everything is so laid back, definitely my style. we start classes tomorrow morning but we took today to walk around and explore and start shooting. i'm going to post some photos now, but, warning, i haven't edited them at all.
